At some point we all need a little reminder and help for what our children are learning in class mostly because it may not look similar to how we were taught. The best part of Common Core Math that is is developing students to become thinkers and truly develop a greater understanding for math. Years ago, we were taught the rules of how to solve a problem, but the idea of understanding why it worked wasn't really important. Today, our students have a much greater understanding of why.
